For Those Who Love Natural Remedies, Skin Care Is Exactly The Same.
So often now people are turning to natural remedies for so many conditions. They are beginning to understand that natural products and natural remedies can, in some cases, be as good or even better than the artificial version. That includes skin care products.
So there is a massive trend towards more natural therapies and remedies. Many natural therapists are now so busy that they can hardly keep up. Whereas 50 years ago we had the choice of going to see the doctor, and that's all, we now have so many options available to us that are less mainstream and more natural.
But although this is true it doesn't mean that all natural remedies and therapies work well, or at all. Many do not and there are many examples of natural therapists touting natural cures for all sorts of things that aren't cures and aren't natural.
Skin care is just the same. Although it's possible to find many brands of natural skincare products many aren't quite as "natural" as you would expect and some don't work very well.
But notwithstanding there are good reasons why people are turning to natural skin care products in droves. It's simple. Many big name skin care products contain ingredients that are dangerous to your health. There's many examples. Some of these ingredients are bad for your health, and some are even bad for your skin.
For example many skin care products contain petrochemical products like mineral oil. This isn't good for your skin and can clog pores, leading to, in some cases, acne.
And it's even possible to find skincare products with ingredients that are known to cause cancer.
So there's no doubt that you ought to be using skin care products comprised only of ingredients that are naturally occurring, and are known to be effective and safe.
So whilst there are many skin care product labeled natural there are also some that aren't quite so natural. The FDA isn't required to test any skin care products, either to see if the ingredients are natural, or safe. So there are natural skin care products around that use potentially harmful ingredients.
As an example recent tests of "organic" products found harmful ingredients like 1,4-Dioxane in some.
So it's not quite as easy as just buying a skin care product labeled "natural". Some aren't quite as safe as you would like.
I wrote an article on my website last week setting out a simple process to go through to find out more about how safe "natural' skincare products really are.
So if you would like to find out more about natural skin care products because you're the sort of person interested in natural remedies read my article.
And as well as telling you the process to go through investigating natural skin care products I also tell you who makes the best ones, in my view, and why.
Because not all natural skin care products are created equal.
