Regain Your Zest for Life

It would be unusual to find a person in middle or old age who does not long for the fitness and vitality of a youthful body. You may enjoy the "wisdom of age," but nobody enjoys the body wearing out and just not working like it did when you were 20 or even 30. While there are many wonderful things that come with getting older - such as grandchildren - it's a shame to not be able to enjoy life as much because of being dragged down by the old body.

Getting older is something that just happens. A body doesn't function like it did 20 or 30 or 40 years ago. Pharmaceuticals have been invented to distract from or cover up the ravages of old age, but they do not "cure" it. However, "fixing" the damage done to the body by age is a workable way to slow, alleviate or even reverse the effects of time, by making physical changes to the body.

As an example, an older body can be deficient in various hormones because age slows down production of hormones. When those hormones are supplemented with bioidentical hormones (identical to the body's own hormones, not synthetic) to the level of hormones in a young adult, effects of age can be slowed or even reversed. Medical tests are needed to determine the exact amount of each hormone needed. But when that is done, one can experience a more youthful body and a happier outlook on life.

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) has three steps:

1. Diagnosis by a physician to determine what is wrong - e.g. overweight, loss of libido, memory loss, etc.

2. Exact testing to determine how much of the related hormones the body is actually producing.

3. Supplying the body with those missing hormones in the proper amounts.

You can be rid of symptoms of aging, but the change won't be instant. Continuing the therapy over a period of time will make them disappear gradually. But why not wait a few months to get rid of that extra fat, feelings of being muddled, loss of vitality, poor memory, hot flashes, anxiety, etc.

You can gain a healthy, vital and active "old age," whether it be 10 or 50 more years.

When hormone replacement therapy is combined with proper nutrition and exercise, the results can be astounding. There's no need for you to feel old, crotchety, forgetful and slow. Do something about it, and enjoy life with your grandchildren!
