Caffeine can also have strong detrimental effects to your acne, as it dries out the skin and acts as a stimulant for the oil that causes acne. It may be hard to go a day without coffee or tea but it will make a huge difference to your skin and going without it can help clear the. Caffeine is best avoided altogether for your acne to clear faster as it has strong dehydrating qualities.
Most people who suffer from acne find the use of medications containing benzoyl peroxide helpful in healing and preventing acne. When trying to get rid of acne, or prevent future breakouts it is important to take care of your pores. Failing to remove make-up before bed can clog the pores on your face causing an increase in pimples. It is also vital to remember to exfoliate your skin at least once a week to remove any dead skin or make-up remnants that may be blocking your pores and causing further breakouts.
